Groups Pastor Position:
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Groups Pastor is the primary shepherd and strategist for VLC’s adult small group ministry, overseeing men’s, women’s, couples, young adults, and both short-term and ongoing groups. Small groups are central to how VLC disciples and cares for one another—they are where relationships deepen, people learn to be open and authentic, burdens are shared, Scripture is studied, and spiritual maturity is cultivated.
Healthy groups create a community where believers are formed in Christ and where those far from God can encounter genuine belonging. The primary win for this role is to multiply leaders and groups so that disciple-making expands and the lost are reached.
This position reports to the Elder Team.

Technical Director & Worship Associate Position:
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The role of Technical Director & Worship Associate, in conjunction with the Teaching Pastor and Worship Minister, is to lead, develop, and maintain the Technical Ministries of the church while also assisting the Worship Minister to lead, develop, and maintain the Worship and Music Ministries of the church. This individual oversees volunteers for all Technical Ministries as well as College and Youth Worship Ministries and has artistic control over those ministries as it relates to song selection and stage design/lighting. As Technical Director, they ensure the worship environment is distraction-free and Christ-centered.
This position reports to the Worship Minister & Teaching Pastor.
